Kami po ay isang batang pamilyang Pilipino na bumili ng aming unang bahay sa Toronto, at aaminin namin—akala talaga namin imposible. Pero dahil kay Sivage Sivagumaran, nangyari ang isang bagay na hindi namin akalaing mangyayari para sa pamilya namin. Simula pa lang, ramdam na ramdam namin na iba si Sivage. Hindi niya kami tinrato na parang “first-time buyers lang.” Hindi niya kami pinabayaan. Hindi niya kami minadali. Binigyan niya kami ng red-carpet VVIP service na parang high-end luxury clients, kahit alam niyang bagong pamilya lang kami na nangangarap magkaroon ng sariling bahay. Isang malapit na kaibigan ng pamilya ang nagsabi, “Tawagan n’yo si Sivage — siya ang tumulong sa tatlo naming kaibigang Pilipino na makabili ng kanilang bahay, at lahat sila ay sobrang natuwa sa kanya.” Doon nagsimula ang aming paglalakbay — at iyon pala ang pinakamagandang payo na natanggap namin!Mula sa unang pagkikita pa lang, binigyan kami ni Sivage ng kumpiyansa at linaw.
