We met Casey Archibald in 2006 in an open house. Later he bought us into a condo in downtown Vancouver in 2007. At that time we were first time homebuyers and we knew nothing about buying a home in BC. Casey suggested us to go subject free, although he knew that we didn’t get any pre-approval at all. He kept telling me “ We will find a lender”. He recommended only one mortgage broker Mckay to us. He couldn’t get us a mortgage and wasted so much of our time before completion date. I had to run to my regular bank to get myself a mortgage. Luckily I managed to do it. But it was so stressful and we were very worried losing our deposit if we can’t close on time. Casey also suggested us not to do a home inspection although we read from the strata documents that there is a recent flood issue. We asked him about it. He told us not worry and it is all fixed already. We believed in him and we didn’t do inspection. Three years after we moved into this apartment. We had another similar flooding again in the exactly same spot. We have a guy checked our floor with a device. We noticed there is a lot of water under the floor in one bedroom. We would not believe that we have been living in a apartment with water the whole time. Imagine how much mold we have been living with? We should have done that home inspection in the first place but we followed Casey’s advice. As a real estate professional, why would not he suggest us to do a home inspection if there were recent leak? It doesn’t make any sense to me. We followed every steps he suggested and we deeply regretting working with him. He didn’t look after our best interest at all. I hope everyone can learn from my lesson.

We've used Casey to buy our first home, then sell it a few years later and purchase our second home. He is an honest realtor who cares about his clients, rather than looking for a quick transaction. Very satisfied with his services and would use him again.

Casey helped us sell our Kitsilano condo and buy a triplex in the same neighbourhood, and we couldn’t be happier with his services.
