I used the the Christine Cowern Team to buy my first home. My realtor was Andrea Feldman. She was genuine and found exactly what I wanted. She did not try to "up-sell" anything and was honest about all the places we visited and if it would meet my needs/wants. She also would call places ahead and ask for extra information not stated in listing to prevent me having to see places she knew I would not like (ie facing a hi-way). She took my time into consideration and I appreciated her use of electronic signatures for documents. She was also able to refer me to an excellent broker and lawyer. All the members of the team that I met were extremely competent and I felt comfortable asking the basic "first time buyer questions." They really took time to get to know what I was looking for and were easy to contact at any time. Andrea was able to negotiate on the price. . When I compare my home buying experience with my friends and family I can see how fortunate I was to have such a great team. Andrea Feldman was the real estate agent who handled the purchase of my first home and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Being a first-time homeowner, she was very patient in walking me through the relevant details involved with the purchase of a home. On very short notice, Andrea was available to meet me for multiple viewings in the city. With her up to date knowledge of the Toronto condo market, she appraised the true value of any place quickly. She kept me constantly updated on the latest developments, which were often quite fluid. She took care of every detail of the buying process and gave me excellent advice about the purchase price. Andrea could always be easily reached or would get back to me promptly when she was not available. She managed all the paperwork and coordinated all status certificate reviews with a detail-focused lawyer in a timely manner. She was tireless, even-tempered, reasonable, and encouraging in the more difficult moments when looking for a home. But, her customer care didn’t diminish once I had secured a place. Andrea also helped with the financing by referring me to a broker who was able to undercut the rate that I had found personally. She checked in with me multiple times after my move in day to ensure that everything went smoothly. Andrea is an invaluable asset to Sage because she goes above and beyond the duties of an agent.
