<p><br /> Recently our son and his fiancé advised us that they were thinking of purchasing a new home. We immediately thought of Doug and knew that he would be a wonderful fit for them. They knew nothing about the real estate market, as they were first time homeowners. We knew that Doug would able to navigate them through the purchase of their first home with a great deal of knowledge, kindness and a good sense of humour.</p> <p>Our son and his fiancé felt very comfortable with Doug from the moment they met. Doug's ability to listen and communicate is exemplary. Many times Doug had to answer concerns and comments not only from our son and his fiancé but also from two sets of parents.</p> <p>After purchasing their home, our son and his finance had many questions. Doug assured them he was always available to answer their questions - regardless of how trivial they may seem - and they had many questions. <p><br /> Doug and I met about 8 years ago. He helped me with my first home purchase at that time and guided me through the process. He made it seem very simple and it was definitely second nature to him. At that time I knew I gained a friend. Since then he has helped me buy and sell every home I have had, totalling three bought and two sold. With Doug nothing seems impossible. I would not purchase or sell a home without him. <p><br /> I have known Doug for almost 3 years and he has helped me get through a very difficult time in my life. After thousands of texts and phone calls, Doug was able to calm me down and help me not only sell my house but help with my first home purchase on my own. On closing day, when things did not look so good, Doug was there again ready to assist me and my children. Doug is an excellent real estate agent but also a great friend. I would not hesitate to use him again or refer him to my friends. Doug listens and takes a personal interest in finding you a home as if he was going to live there. Even after everything closed after 2 ½ years, Doug still comes around to see if we are fine. Doug is the best.</p>

<p><br /> I have used Doug's services more than once, initially as a Mortgage Specialist, then as a Real Estate Agent. Doug made me feel like I was his top priority! He didn't rush any decision making, he patiently answered all my questions, and in the end, my home sold for more than the asking price! He still keeps in touch, every now and again I find treats in my door from Doug, who is just saying hi! I like his personal approach, I never felt like I was a number. He also took care of my mortgage for me, again with my best interest at heart. I highly recommend Doug to anyone who asks about a real estate agent!</p>

He always did his homework and made sure we had a plan going into any negotiations so that we wouldn’t make emotional decisions. That we would later regret (ex. Overpaying for a house). We completely trusted Doug's abilities in all parts of the process, and would recommend him to our friends and family without hesitation.
