Ok so I rarely write review for anything but i feel very compelled to write this one. We recently used realtor Ken Hu for the sale of our family's Richmond property. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. Obviously, it's great that the property sold (super quickly & above assessment value), but what really wowed us was the process in our experience of working with him. Within our family, we have had our fair share of experiences using different realtors for both buy and sale and of various types of properties. Of them all, Ken clearly stood out as one of the most sincere, knowledgeable, responsive and by far the most proactive realtor we know. Ken did an outstanding job from beginning to end. He helped us get our property ready for open house showings, guided us through everything and made suggestions for what we needed to do or fix in preparation with the goal of helping us get top dollars for our property. After sourcing and providing us with different quotes/options, Ken proactively arranged and facilitated access into our vacant property on his own time. He is always on top of things which I really appreciate as I am normally super busy. Some of these includes HVAC repairment, stovetop and oven replacement (ours nolonger function), handyman work for wall repairs, Garage Fob key repair/replacement, and much more. Ken always provided us with regular and prompt updates. Although his primary language is English and Mandarin, he was able to converse clearly in Cantonese, which my Cantonese speaking parents truly appreciated. Ken made a great video featuring our property for sale, leisurely taking the viewers along to experience the condo interior, the surroundings, and even trying a nearby restaurant to showcase what the area has to offer. We feel this stood out in comparing to the more standard ("hard-sell") videos I see other realtors sometimes tend make. I ended up stumbling upon his youtube channel as well where he regularly shares his depth of knowledge on anything real estate-related, plus more. We received an offer immediately at the first week's showing and again at second week showing, obtaining a very satisfactory subject-free offer! Ken even went above and beyond, facilitating us in selling our existing furnitures after the buyer had voiced his interest in purchasing them. Finally, as the deal closes, he also made recommendations for Cantonese speaking lawyers which we are very happy with. Honestly, there were so many things that he had help us with that was beyond our expectation for a realtor. We HIGHLY recommend Ken Hu for anyone who needs a knowledgeable realtor who will help you sell your property at the best of his ability.
