<p>In June of 2020, my husband and I began looking for homes after two years of window shopping online. The thing is, we lived in Vancouver at the time and with the COVID-19 restrictions we couldn't travel to Edmonton to see houses. This made me nervous and so I wanted a great realtor to help us out.</p> <p>We connected with Rahul via recommendation. As first time buyers, we knew nothing about the actual process save for what we saw on HGTV (which is hardly accurate as it turns out!). So, I was extremely anxious, but Rahul was super helpful. He would answer any question I had, and would get back to me very quickly even if it was after 9pm!</p> <p>Rahul handled the long-distance issue like a pro; he went to showings for us and would get as much information as possible on each listing so we could know almost as much as someone who saw the place would. When we became really serious about a house, Rahul did video chat showings over WhatsApp. I was concerned the perspective might be a bit wonky, but he held the camera at the perfect height so it felt like we were walking through. Plus, whenever we needed to see some part of the house up close, Rahul would get right in there. In fact, he even laid down on the floor with the camera so we could check out the hardwood!</p> <p>When it came time to negotiate, Rahul was very prompt with all the paperwork and phone calls. We quickly came to a tentative agreement with the sellers that was contingent on inspection and Rahul helped us with that too! Since we couldn't be there for the inspection, Rahul went in our place and spent two hours examining the house with the inspectors. He then called us right away once it was complete to go over everything.</p> <p>Overall, my husband and I are profoundly grateful to Rahul for his hard work and dedication. With Rahul's help, we got a decent price on a beautiful house and achieved our dream of homeownership. I happily recommend his services to anyone looking to buy in the Edmonton area!</p>
