What a team! Gord was amazing taking us to several homes with printouts of every one! So organized and on time! And at the end of a long day, Shalon met us at the last house with wide variety of beverages to quench our thirst! 😄🍺 Couldn’t ask for more except……they kept us informed of any homes that suited us and in the end found the one that checked all the boxes….before it went to market! Shalon and Gord are total professionals and answered all our questions and got back to us right away! Shalon is extremely knowledgable of our area! She is also very calm and did not put one ounce of pressure on us! She spent loads of time with us - sometimes going back to the same house again. Never did she make us feel like we were a bother or too much trouble. If we had a question she was unable to answer she always managed to get the info and get back to us. Shalon saved our lives! Our deal was likely the most unusual she had ever taken on. From us winning a home in a lottery in August 2023 just 2 days before wildfires preventing us obtaining fire insurance, to dealing with an unco-operative charity society & their lawyers involved, to finding charity debts owing on the home, & then finding builder deficiencies the worst she had ever seen, then finding a buyer willing to take on what seemed to us an insurmountable problem. As “older” clients, we hadn’t had any real estate experience for 25 years, so she held our hands, communicated often, answering our questions & fears. This deal took from Aug 2023 to April 2024, when we were finally able to obtain title. We were held up continually by the charity not clearing the title for us to take possession, then list with Shalon, then get a successful sale. You wouldn’t think our happy win could turn into such a nightmare. Shalon was patient & caring the whole time, when she could have easily just walked away. We are so thankful for all the help she gave willingly to us. Thank you Shalon!
