About
Charlotte has been a resident of the Vermilion area for over 30 years, having grown up in Innisfree, AB. She graduated from Innisfree Delnorte School and went on to study Journalism at SAIT in Calgary, AB. In January 1990, she took on an Advertising Sales position at the Vermilion Standard, where she spent a 27-year career in Sales and Marketing.
After retiring from the newspaper industry in 2017, Charlotte pursued her passion for Kitchen and Bath Design. She immersed herself in all aspects of the field, from layout and planning to selecting the perfect products for a beautiful home. In May 2018, she published an updated history of the Vermilion Branch #11 Royal Canadian Legion titled "We Will Remember Them, A History of Field Marshal Alexander Branch, No. 11." Additionally, Charlotte served on the Board of the Vermilion & District Housing Foundation’s “Living Well Capital Campaign,” which successfully raised over $1.4 million for senior housing improvements in Vermilion.
