About Chris Greidanus
Chris was born and raised in the Edmonton area. He met his wife Tammy in the faculty of Physical Education and Recreation at the University of Alberta where they were both working toward their physical Education degrees. After going through the University of Alberta’s nursing program Chris finished his undergraduate degree in Physical Education and Recreation, with a focus on Sport & Performance. After university he moved to Japan with his wife to teach English and travel. It was living in Japan that really triggered Chris’ awareness for use of space, public transit, and proper design. Living in a country as populated as Japan can really make you appreciate the idea of space. One year, and many countries later they returned to Canada and found a home and started a family in Sherwood Park.
Chris recently returned to the University of Alberta and completed his Masters of Arts in Physical Education, with a focus on health promotion and living in healthy communities, and how to look at a persons complete lifestyle to find the best house for the person, as opposed to simply finding the most house for the money. Chris’ experience and education provide him with a great background for Real Estate.
Chris enjoys spending his free time with his kids, and a few spare moments for basketball, snowboarding, and helping Tammy’s family on the farm.
With a background as a business owner, and his education and experience he has gained from his time in real estate he is ready to help with all your real estate needs. Chris has completed supplemental real estate course in Green real estate, and is proud to be the only RE/MAX Elite realtor who is a certified Green Realtor, is a member of the National Association of Realtors Green Council and is also an Accredited Buyers Representative and a member with the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council.
