I recently decided to retire and relocate from Winnipeg to Calgary where my daughter and her family live. My daughter recommended Albert Mah as a relator as he had been very helpful when she and her husband purchased their first home. I contacted Albert in the late fall and provided him with an idea as to what I was looking for and by this time, I had decided on purchasing a condominium, a location, and some of the amenities I wanted. My daughter and I spent the better part of a day visiting and looking at these seven units with Albert. In February Albert notified me that a condo matching what I was looking for had just been advertised so he and my daughter went to look and within two days our offer to purchase was accepted and I now own that condo and am very happy with it. As a realtor, Albert was invaluable to me. He clearly understood the housing market at the time, and his advice on drawing up the offer to purchase and the time line we should use were correct and lead to quick acceptance by the seller. COVID made travel awkward and because I was in another province there were some unusual challenges. He was able to help me with finding a law firm in Calgary and facilitating communications between the property management company and myself. He also helped to set up payment of my property taxes. Overall, Albert made the entire process go smoothly and very promptly took care of the few bumps that turned up on the way. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend him or any of his colleagues at Connect Real Estate Group as knowledgeable, personable, and very competent realtors.
