Being a prospective first-time home buyer in a new country can be a daunting and stressful proposition. The most pertinent decision before embarking upon this journey is to select an experienced and trusted realtor who will not only function as an industry expert and trusted advisor but continually work keeping your best interest in mind. We were blessed and lucky to have found Mr Gyanesh Paliwal and Akanksha Paliwal from Team Paliwal who persevered patiently with us for over 3 months operating in a highly unpredictable and capricious market but finally helping us get a home that we desired and that checked all our requirements boxes. I still remember the first 2-hour long zoom call that we had with team Paliwal where they explained to us the entire buying process, addressed all our questions and very patiently listened to all our requirements. That gave us a lot of confidence as we had clarity on how the process would look like and what level of support we will get from team Paliwal. We had very specific requirements when it came to the number of rooms, bathrooms, neighbourhoods and even the rating of the schools but Akanksha was very understanding about these requirements given our family situation and always gave us the best advice keeping our best interest in mind. There were times we got disheartened as the market back in March/April 2021 was just going crazy, but Akanksha always imparted her sagacious industry expertise and kept us motivated, she always said “I will definitely help you find your dream house”. After visiting over 12 properties and putting offers for over 5 properties we finally won the deal for the house that best suited all our requirements. Even after we won the deal Akanksha negotiated very hard and intelligently over the home inspection report and saved us a few thousand dollars. They also helped us connect to a great lawyer for closing the deal and recommended great contractors to help us with some renovation work in our new house.
