Jim recently helped my fiancée and I recently purchase our first home, and we cannot express how grateful we are to have worked with him. He helped us throughout every step of the search, from sending us listings that we might be interested in based on our initial discussions, giving us market updates and examining comparable property sales in the neighbourhoods we were interested in, to booking and taking us to viewings. Jim was an excellent communicator and was always quick to reply to any questions we had, regardless of how early or late it was. During many of our viewings he was quick to point out potential issues or downsides of the properties we saw. In some cases, he even suggested that we turn away, which shows that he always had our best interests in mind and wasn't just trying to quickly close a deal. When we finally saw a place that seemed to check all of our boxes, Jim handled the negotiations flawlessly. Keeping us in the loop throughout, he was able to secure us the home at a price that was significantly below their listing price. Afterwards, he walked us through the rest of the process, making sure that we had a contractual agreement that protected us from any issues down the line. Not only that, he also went through the contract line-by-line with us in order to make sure that we truly understood what everything meant. It was a pleasure working with Jim as our realtor, and we absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a property. His combination of knowledge, experience, and communication skills made the whole process smooth and easy. He is also just a great guy to be around!
