Dave's great. Alberta real estate is a gong show, Dave took care of it for me. Original offer above asking fell through, NOT Dave's fault. [I suppose I chose the wrong offer on a multi-offer situation]. Got there in the end, a little less than I was hoping for, but satisfied with the ultimate sale.

We have sold and purchased a few homes through Dave Linklater over the years. Most recently, during the early days of the pandemic he was able to adapt and successfully sell our home in a very short time. He is an experienced and professional realtor who provides exceptional service for his clients. Dave takes care to understand your needs and is always available and responsive. He is knowledgeable of the market and provides good information and analysis to determine appropriate pricing. We very much appreciated his thoughtful and sound advice throughout each process, as well as his negotiation skills that helped us navigate a few difficult situations. <p>Dave was our agent to purchase a house in St. Albert. He has exceptional knowledge of the entire area and has lived there many years. He was referred to me by a business associate. We purchased the home sight unseen which was common in 2020. Dave is very straight with you and will give his raw opinion no matter how much you like or dislike a property, which is appreciated and desired in an agent. We took a while before we purchased and Dave was very patient and reviewed and took video of all the properties we asked him to. Our posession date occurred before we were in location, Dave kept our keys and checked in on our new property until we arrived. Dave goes above and beyond and we couldn't be happier with him as our agent. As an aside our new neighbours were slightly miffed with the deal we got on our house as they said it will make it harder to get the price they want for a sale down the road.</p>

We used Dave to buy our new home and sell our previous one. As second time homebuyers, we knew a little bit more about the process and what to expect. Dave naturally knew a lot about the areas we were interested in looking in, and not as much about the area we were selling our home in (being that he is based in St. Albert for the most part). That being said, he definitely did his research to support us in selling our home at the right price point and we were happy with outcome. Dave and his team were patient, accommodating and professional. There were some hiccups in the purchase of our new home (specifically in getting accurate information from the sellers) but that was out of his control. For example, the listing agent of our new home incorrectly indicated details of the property that we didn’t catch until we bought it (gravel driveway when we were told it was paved, and we bought in the winter). Overall, Dave was recommended to us by a family member and we would use him again.
