I e-mailed a handful of Realtors inquiring about properties on realtor.ca. Stephen was the only Realtor who responded to me. Our introductory call was thorough and I felt his expertise was strong. Interestingly, he has formal training as a lawyer. Stephen has excellent research skills and the effectiveness of his negotiations strategy was spot on. He predicted the outcome of negotiations very accurately. Once he got my offer accepted, he was able to introduce me to an excellent home inspector and local lawyer. As an out-of-town buyer/investor, I had to depend upon his expertise to make decisions. I was able to purchase a house with Stephen’s guidance without ever seeing the house in person! He was able to facilitate access to the house several times with a local contractor I knew prior to possession day so that I could quickly plan and complete some renovations prior to renting out the property.
